White Oak Conference Center
7603 Antoine, Houston, Texas 77088

The Near Northwest Management District and Treesearch Farms will host the White Oak Plant Sale on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at the White Oak Conference Center – 7603 Antoine Dr., to raise funds for the continuing maintenance of the White Oak Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden-which is located at this same address. This will be the 8th sale benefiting this garden!

The event will kick off at 9 a.m. with a presentation by Heidi Sheesley – owner of Treesearch Farms, and renowned horticulturist. Her entertaining and informative PowerPoint presentation will feature many of the plants that will be available at the sale. The plant sale begins at 10 a.m. and will go until 2:00 or until the plants sell out – which they normally do!

Strolling through the White Oak Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden, which was designed and planted in 2012, is a great way to get ideas for your own yard and see the actual plants in a garden setting. During Heidi’s presentation, you’ll learn all about the different hummingbird and butterfly attracting plants, what they do, where to plant them and how they grow.
