Multifamily property owners from across the Near Northwest area gathered at the White Oak Conference Center on Thursday to hear from three social media marketing experts, and learn some best practices for using social media to market their business.

Travis Lawson from Pierpont Communications, Nate Stockard from Blue Atlas and Mike Wittman from each delivered presentations on everything from how to construct a social media plan and policy, what social media platforms to use, how to develop engaging and what tools multifamily property owners should be using to enhance their digital presence.

Attendees came away with usable tips and tricks for using social media and their website to increase occupancy, retain existing residents, hire quality candidates and improve on-property services. The symposium lasted from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and was complete with interactive discussions and activities, which gave the attendees the foundation to develop effective social media platforms for their business.
