Mayor Sylvester Turner distributed masks to each council district. On Monday, April 27th, we will have three locations in District A so that you can pick up several masks.
- All locations will be first come, first served and until we run out.
- If you already have a mask or can access one, please leave these for those most vulnerable such as senior citizens.
- If you have masks or other supplies that you would like to donate to the distribution, please bring them!!!
- If you need a mask and are unable to leave the house, please contact our office. We will do our best to get you one, but please keep in mind that we have a limited supply! As a reminder, Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo issued an order requiring that when "leaving one's residence and when in a public place all persons over the age of ten (10) shall wear some form of face covering that covers the nose and mouth. The face covering may, for example, be a homemade mask, scarf, bandana, handkerchief and other cloth masks."
